Administrative Assistants (Administration & Office Support) Cherries Tasmania Orchard is a family run orchard established in 2003 by Nic & Traci Hansen, with Nic being a 4th generation orchardist.
Cherries Tasmania Orchards is located on Harvest Lane at Old Beach, with 80 hectares (200 acres) planted to cherries.
The orchard has been developed along the ethos of achieving world's best industry practice at every task we undertake.
About the Opportunity We are currently seeking an Administration Officer to join our team.
This position reports to the Office Manager.
We are seeking a candidate to assist with all day-to-day administration, development, and growth of the business.
This role liaises with Office Management, Seasonal Administration Assistant, Orchard Management, and Director to ensure smooth processing of administrative support for the business.
This role is part time, 3 days per week/8 hours per day, days to be determined with suitable applicants.
Additional availability during the cherry harvest season (December & January) is required and will be discussed with suitable applicants.
The successful applicant must be available to work Wednesdays; other day/s are negotiable.
About You Have previous administration and data entry experience.
Have well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
Be able to participate as a member of the team and contribute to the overall achievement of the company's objectives.
Excellent computer skills ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience using XERO, MYOB, and Microsoft Software.
Ability to work under pressure and to a timeline.
Responsibilities Basic accounts payable/receivable tasks.
Essential Criteria, Skills, and Experience Previous experience working in a similar office environment is an advantage.
Selection Criteria Proven experience in Financial Accounts Payable/Receivable.
Proven experience with non-financial audits (non-essential).
Remuneration $28-$32 p/h + Super with annual salary review.
