Administration Officer (BBBH242310) Fyshwick, Canberra, AustraliaSalary: AUD38 - AUD38 per hour + SuperThis role will involve a variety of tasks including answering phones, managing grocery orders, filing documents, liaising with contractors, and providing customer service. A key part of the role may involve occasional crisis management.Location: Near Airport - ACTAnticipated Duration: 6-8 weeks, starting early January (with potential to extend)Working Hours: Flexible for the right candidate38.00 plus super per hourWe are seeking a reliable and adaptable Temporary Administrator to provide essential administrative support for a busy community-based service. This role will involve a variety of tasks including answering phones, managing grocery orders, filing documents, liaising with contractors, and providing customer service. A key part of the role may involve occasional crisis management.Key Responsibilities:Answering phone calls and managing the admin lineCoordinating with contractors, moving officers, and internet providersHandling basic finance tasks, such as uploading receipts and basic finance-related administrationProviding excellent customer service and maintaining confidentiality at all timesAssisting with various administrative duties as requiredSkills and Experience:Previous experience in administrative rolesBasic finance knowledge and experience with uploading receiptsStrong customer service skills and computer literacyA genuine empathy for working in the community sectorMust hold a valid Working with Vulnerable People CheckIdeal Candidate:Resilient with a heads-down, empathetic approachIdeally has experience in the NFP (Not-for-Profit) or community sectorComfortable working independently and as part of a teamAble to respect confidentiality and work in sensitive environmentsThis is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a dynamic and rewarding administrative role with the potential for an extension.
