Enabling Pathways is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Administration Officer to join our team in Cairns.
Those with HR or Marketing experience or passion are encouraged to apply.
As an Administration Officer your role will involve: Main DutiesServe as the first point of contact for stakeholders, clients, and employees, providing excellent customer service and support.Create and format documents, reports, and presentations.Provide general administrative support, including answering phones, managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records.Assist in the coordination of meetings, including minute-taking and follow-up actions.Manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is well-stocked and operational.Work closely with the Business Support team, providing assistance as needed to ensure smooth operations across the organisation.Other DutiesContribute to the continuous improvement of office procedures and processes.Support various projects and initiatives as required.Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication and smooth operations.Assist with the recruitment process by coordinating interviews, preparing job postings, and assisting with onboarding activities.Support the creation of reports and presentations.Perform additional administrative tasks such as HR or marketing assistance, and data entry.Skills & ExperienceStrong organisational and time-management skills.Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.Previous experience in a community, NDIS or Child Safety sector role is advantageous.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.High level of PC literacy and proficient with Microsoft suites.
Experience using Employment Hero, Visual Care, Canva or Budgetly is an advantage.Exceptional organisational skills and adept at prioritising your workload.Ability to build rapport and trust with others and also exercise initiative and professional judgment.Core values must align with our company values.Excellent problem-solving capability, remaining calm and adaptable to achieve deadlines whilst maintaining quality, attention to detail and accuracy of information.Mandatory RequirementsRelevant qualifications or previous experience in an Admin role or similar.Proof of citizenship (passport, birth certificate or citizenship certificate) or VISA if applicable.Current QLD Open Driver's License.Must hold a Working with Children Blue Card.NDIS Workers Screening Yellow Card.Hold a current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) Certificate.A clean National Police check less than 6 months old.Ability to communicate effectively with clients, their families, community agencies and other professionals.Ability to work in a busy environment, both independently and as a part of a team.Comply with & understand all privacy and confidentiality policies.Cultural awareness of all backgrounds.Why Us?Join us at Enabling Pathways, where the impact you create daily is celebrated, and your well-being is at the core of our shared journey.
