The Kimberley Ports Authority (KPA) is based in the town of Broome, Western Australia.
The Authority operates the Port of Broome and has the regulatory responsibility for the ports of Derby, Yampi Sound, and Wyndham, also in the Kimberley region.
KPA employs more than 80 staff delivering a diverse range of operational and administrative services.
The Role: Due to internal secondment, we have an opportunity for an 18-month fixed-term position reporting to the Governance Manager.
This is an integral role in the organisation and requires a person who is passionate about working for a purpose-led organisation.
In this 'hands-on' and all-round administration role, your responsibilities will be diverse and will include, but are not limited to:
Reception services for visitors and phone calls;Organisation of meetings, including preparation of agenda reports, collation, distribution, and minute taking;Preparation of draft letters and responses to Government;Liaison with stakeholder groups on behalf of the CEO;Travel and accommodation bookings;Records management and filing in accordance with State Records Act 2000;Administration of the KPA Port pass process;Office equipment and supplies ordering and administration;Provide backup and overflow administration support to all KPA departments;Assist with other projects as requested.About You: You will share a passion for our purpose and be aligned to our core values.
In addition, you will demonstrate:
Experience in providing admin support services to Managers;Strong interpersonal skills, with a great phone manner;Ability to work autonomously;Strong Microsoft Office suite skills.The Benefits: If successful, you will be rewarded with a range of benefits including:
