You will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming environment for residents and visitors alike, providing essential support to staff and ensuring effective communication within the Residence.
You will contribute to the overall experience and satisfaction of residents and families, making you an integral part of the administration team.
Your primary functions will be: Welcoming residents, visitors and families with a friendly and warm demeanor, creating a positive and inviting atmosphere.Managing incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate departments or individuals and handling general inquiries and messages efficiently.Scheduling appointments for residents to see medical professionals, therapists or other service providers as needed.Registering and monitoring visitors, ensuring security and safety protocols are followed.Providing information and assistance to residents and their families, addressing their queries and concerns and connecting them with the appropriate staff members when necessary.Administrative Support: Assisting with administrative tasks, such as rostering, filing, data entry, maintaining records, mail and deliveries.Staff Scheduling: Developing and maintaining staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts and to meet the care requirements of residents.
This involves coordinating the availability of different staff members, taking into account their qualifications, preferences, and contractual obligations.Managing Shift Changes: Handling requests for shift changes, leave, or time off and finding suitable replacements when necessary to maintain staffing levels.Skills & Experience Warm and welcoming personality, with a strong desire to provide quality care and respect to our residents, family and fellow team members.Previous Administration experience within the Aged Care Industry (Highly desirable)Prior experience managing rosters and the coordination of staff schedulesStrong attention to detailExperience using employee scheduling software such as Humanforce or Time Target is highly desirableAdaptable, passionate and willingness to learn.Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.Friendly and effective communication abilities.Ready to Apply It really is our people and culture that set us apart, with our ongoing focus of working together as one team.
