Our client P & J Powdercoating, located in Tingalpa is currently seeking the skills of an Administration Officer.
No day is the same in this role with a diverse workload that covers everything from basic reception to bookkeeping and accounts.
If you have experience in financial tasks such as accounts receivable / payable, payroll, bank reconciliation, and petty cash management along with the ability to think on your feet and be solution based, as well as being a customer service extraordinaire to the many walk in and repeat clients, then you will shine in this role.
Daily hours are 7am - 3:30pm Mon-Thurs, 7am - 1pm Friday
Other tasks will include:
Administrator Daily Tasks General reception duties - assist customers' inquiries, receive payments, customer orders, etc.Accounts Payable including purchase orders, entering supplier invoices, organise payment to suppliers and create ABA file for supplier payments.Order and maintain appropriate levels of stationary, staff requirements, etc.Prepare general correspondenceOperate computerised accounts system - Xero :InvoicingCalculate GST liability/credits on all transactions.Bank reconciliations.Prepare reportsMaintain petty cashPrepare payrollMaintain records of staff annual sick leave entitlements, payroll deductions and superannuation contributions.Maintain appropriate filing of all paper records.Be responsible for your own safety and the safety of others.Maintain the quality system in order to ensure compliance with the company's Quality Policy & AS/ISO 9002 requirements.Control & maintain records for the issue & retrieval of Quality related documents.You will be required to be Certified in First Aid or willing to obtain certification and will be the registered First Aid officer onsite.
