About us:
Located on the bank of the South Pine River in Strathpine, Pine Rivers Private Hospital is a 70 bed mental health facility that provides comprehensive inpatient and day programs for our Queensland community.
As a leading provider, we specialise in addiction, bipolar and depressive disorders, mood disorders, OCD, PTSD and complex PTSD management, psychosis and chronic pain management.
We also deliver specialised therapies in EMDR, TMS and ECT.
About the role:
We are seeking a Casual Administration Officer to join our team.
Rosters are between the hours of 7:30am – 8:00pm Monday to Friday and 10am-4pm on weekends.
Availability for an alternating weekend shift is required.
Your responsibilities will include: Ensure timely and competent handling of administrative duties, including:Prepare admission paperworkGreeting patients with a friendly and professional manner.Maintain accurate and effective record management systems including preparation of medical recordsPerform Health Fund Checks as requiredManage the collection of excesses/co paymentsCoordinate with staff from other departmentsComplete other clerical tasks such as data entryAbout You:
You will have the following skills:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a drive to achieve customer satisfactionStrong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and work within a busy teamComputer skills in MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)Previous reception experience in a health care environment would be an advantage.Flexible to work a variety of shifts.Why Healthscope?
