Queensland Fauna Consultancy Pty Ltd is seeking a team-oriented, long term, full-time Project Scheduler/Administration Assistant to become a valued and integral part of our multi-faceted wildlife management team. The role is suited to an individual who has good people management skills and the ability to maintain strong relationships with clients.  Previous experience in a project scheduling role in the environmental or construction industry is ideal, but not essential.  
Roles and duties will primarily include but are not limited to: 
Reception duties including managing and screening phone calls,Project scheduling - managing project bookings and staff placements on local and FIFO projects. Will include tracking project inductions, medicals, and project rosters (including use of client-specific online induction portals),Managing and responding to incoming inquiries in a timely and accurate manner (via phone, email, and website inquiries),Managing, preparing, and responding to quotes and tender requests,Invoicing - preparing and submitting invoices for Fauna Spotter/Catcher projects,Managing, receiving, and filing field data records submitted by field staff (including daily data, fauna habitat assessments, job start cards and SHEWMS submissions),Preparing permit applications, managing permit renewals and submitting return of operations for all permits to the relevant government departments (including use of DES Connect).The role would suit someone with previous experience and/or demonstrated competencies in the following required areas:
Ability to manage a multi-faceted role and multi-task;Excellent organisation, time management and prioritisation skills;Excellent attention to detail;Fast learner;Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment;Strong and assertive phone skills dealing with public and business clientele;Great communication skills both written and oral;Experience and competency with Word, Excel and Outlook;Experience with MYOB preferred but not essential;Passion for wildlife in general.The position is well suited for a motivated, wildlife passionate individual with a view to a longer-term role in the fauna management sector. Previous experience in the fauna spotter or equivalent industry would see candidates strongly considered.
