About the Role Reporting to the General Manager, the Administration Officer is responsible for providing administrative support to the Teuila team, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of administrative functions. This position involves a range of tasks, including record keeping, data entry, communication, and coordination, to contribute to the successful delivery of NDIS services.
Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate NDIS participant records, ensuring compliance with NDIS regulationsManage participant information confidentially and securelyPrepare and respond to emails, letters, and communication for internal and external stakeholdersCoordinate scheduling for appointments, meetings, and eventsAssist with financial processes, including invoicing and tracking paymentsSupport Teuila's team in ensuring compliance with NDIS policies and proceduresAssist with NDIS application preparation and reporting requirementsIdentify and implement improvements in administration processesStay updated on NDIS regulations, policies, and training opportunities.Selection criteria/Skills & competencies Diploma or Certificate in Business Administration (or relevant field)Practical experience in administrative roles, especially in healthcare or disability servicesProficiency in Microsoft Suite and NDIS proceduresStrong organisational skills, with attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalProfessional and confident demeanorPositive approach to change and challengesStrong time management and multitasking abilities.Required Certifications Level 1 First Aid and CPRValid driver's license and insured vehicleNDIS Worker Screening checkWorking with Children checkNDIS Orientation CertificateEvidence of the right to work in Australia.Schedule 38 hours a week, Monday to Friday.Experience Minimum 1-year extensive experience in an administration role.Excited to join If you are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of people living with a disability and have the qualifications and qualities we are looking for, we would love to hear from you!
