The Administration Officer is responsible for processing finance and administration duties relating to accounts payable / receivable, payroll, and will perform general office duties including data entry, filing and reception.
This opportunity is available as Full-time or Part-time (0.8 FTE).
Responsibilities
Assist the Administration Manager with the smooth running of office administration functions as required.
General office administrative duties including receiving and processing correspondence via email, phone, and physical mail.
Consistent and accurate processing of payroll.
Maintain up to date personnel information in associated databases.
Data entry, filing and the preparation of statistical data reports and presentations.
Timely management of financial functions; including, but not limited to payroll, accounts payable / receivable and purchasing.
Organise and manage employee schedules and calendars in relation to appointments and site allocation; including travel reservation requirements.
Assist with the facilitation of company events, including ordering materials and engagement with external parties.
Attend meetings to record notes and minute meetings / messages for managers.
Client and supplier engagement at reception.
Other duties as required.
Experience
Commitment to excellent customer service.
Prior experience in an administration / accounting role, working with data and reporting in complex systems.
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office i.e., word, excel and outlook.
Experience with financial/accounting/payroll software.
The ability to master other computer programs as required.
