About the role The Administration Officer's primary responsibility is to deliver comprehensive administrative support to the Human Resources and Finance departments. This includes managing the entire employment lifecycle, from coordinating recruitment and drafting HR-related correspondence to maintaining accurate records and facilitating communication on employee matters. Additionally, the role involves processing financial transactions, including supplier and outgoing invoices, bank account reconciliations, petty cash management, and providing audit support. The Administration Officer will also occasionally assist with payroll processing and other Corporate Services tasks.
The successful candidate will have Certificate III/IV in Business Administration or other relevant qualification, or equivalent experience Experience in an administrative role with strong organisational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Advanced IT skills, and, in particular, confident using Microsoft Office products including MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook Ability to develop documents to a professional standard with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy Effective problem-solving skills to address administrative challenges and support operational needs. Proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across different departments. Desirable Previous experience in HR administration, including tasks like recruitment coordination, managing HR documentation, and handling HR inquiries.
