About the Role:This Scanning Clerk role works within the Health Information department at Orange Health Service.
You will complete a range of operational, clerical, and administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the facility.
Responsibilities include scanning and indexing documents, accurate data entry and retrieval, tracking and following up on missing or incomplete records, and maintaining respect for patient privacy & confidentiality.
Working hours are flexible with discussion, typically from 08:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday.
You will support the manager and team with quality improvement activities, make decisions, and take initiative in day-to-day operational matters, performing according to established work practices and procedures, working under general instruction and broad supervision.
On-the-job training will be complemented by My Health Learning online courses, mentoring by the Health Information Manager, and performance development based on agreed objectives and regular performance reviews.
