Kickstart Your Healthcare Administration Career at SALHN! As a member of the administrative team across SALHN GP Plus sites, the Administrative Officer plays a pivotal role in delivering culturally appropriate, comprehensive, and confidential administrative services for patients and staff. This position contributes to the achievement of the SALHN Intermediate Care Implementation Plan, facilitating integration between hospital and community settings, providing a single point of access, and supporting rapid response pathways. The Administrative Officer contributes to continuous improvement and quality service delivery through support, guidance, and education to healthcare professionals, as well as participating in planning, policy development, and service review processes.
About the role: Reporting to the Administration Coordinator, some of your duties as the Administration Officer may involve:
Responding appropriately and promptly to incoming calls and walk-in visitors.Liaising and promoting the centre's function to the community.Ensuring that room bookings, resources, and information for programs are current.Registering new clients and maintaining client record systems.About you: Experience in providing an administrative and frontline service in a community health setting.Administering client records and information management systems.Managing difficult situations and resolving conflict in a constructive manner.Operating as an effective team member.Ability to utilise high-level communication skills to effectively work with, and resolve issues and conflict with, people with diverse values.Application Closing Date: 11.55 pm Thursday 12th December 2024.
