What you need to know...

Temporary 6 month contract

Full time - 70 hours per fortnight

The package: $60,312 to $71,923 plus superannuation per annum

Location: Grafton Regional Gallery

About the role

Grafton Regional Gallery is seeking Expressions of Interest to undertake the role of Administration Officer (Gallery) for a six month period from 30 December 2024 to 30 June 2025.
The Administration Officer provides high quality customer service and arts administration support to the Gallery Director and Gallery team to ensure efficient running of the gallery precinct and promotes a positive and professional image of the Council and the Gallery.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team of gallery professionals, and contribute to the cultural vibrancy of the Clarence Valley.

To be considered for this position you will need to:

Address the essential criteria

Attach a cover letter (2 pages maximum) and an up-to-date resume (2 pages maximum) that clearly details your skills & experience in arts administration and customer service delivery.
You will need to demonstrate how you meet the focus capabilities and how your skills will enable you to achieve the key accountabilities.

Answer the 2 target questions - maximum 300 words each question: Q1.
Give an example of how you turned a dissatisfied customer into a satisfied one.
What did you do?
Q2.
Describe a situation where you showed initiative in completing your work.
What was the outcome?

Other important information

This position is located at Council's Grafton Regional Gallery.
Occasional out of hours and weekend work is a requirement of the position.
