Our client has a permanent opportunity available for an experienced and motivated Administration Officer to assist our client's finance team.C&H Recruitment is supporting our Townsville based client in recruiting for a Administration Officer to join them on a permanent basis.Reporting to the Financial Accountant, this role will challenge and develop your professional skills, whilst providing great exposure to a multifaceted heavy industry business.As a key member of the Finance Team, you will be responsible for preparing, processing, and maintaining records for the payroll and accounts receivable functions and providing general accounting and administration support. Your day to day duties will consist of but not limited to;Administration -Maintaining database systems and records in accordance with policies and proceduresCarry out general office procedures including receipt of telephone and visitor enquires, referral of incoming correspondence, preparation and mailing of outgoing correspondenceMaintain stock/stationary and oversee the petty cash dutiesProvide general administrative support to Managers and Supervisors as requiredAccounts Receivable -Assist with billing customers on a timely basis, filing copies as per documented proceduresIssuing and managing customer statements on a monthly basisAccurate data entry of maintaining current and new account applications and perform necessary reference checks and compliance Supplier Payments/Expenses -Collation of supplier invoices into weekly, fortnightly and monthly payment runsEnsure all supplier bills are appropriately authorised for payment, and assist with processing payments when authorisedRecord supplier payments and office expenses in company accounting software and code to appropriate accounts.The successful candidate will be rewarded with a permanent position and a salary package of $62,500/annum plus superannuation.
