About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to deliver a seamless patient experience by providing efficient bookings, admissions and reception/ ward services for all patients, as well as to provide efficient utilisation of all services for consultants and clinicians.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Provide first point of call/frontline administrative support to all patients, families, and visitors to the STARS facility, ensuring tact, diplomacy, and discretion. Provide excellent customer service, and communicate clearly and confidently with patients, clinicians, members of the public and facility staff, both in person and over the telephone, answering enquiries and providing accurate advice. Responsible for updating information systems relating to STARS and assisting patients with check-in, while ensuring data integrity and patient confidentiality by adhering to approved policies, guidelines and workplace processes and procedures. Use of information technology to manage patient information and facilitate the identification of errors while ensuring a high level of data quality. Systems include Hospital Based Corporate Information System (HBCIS), integrated electronic Medical Record (ieMR), Enterprise System Management (ESM), Q-Flow, Interpreter Services, Connecting Care Information Portal (CCI), RiskMan, Microsoft Office applications.
