In this fast-paced environment you'll enjoy the diversity of hands-on operation and recording of scale information as part of sale day processes as well providing administrative support for operations and project work.Responsibilities:Managing and operating saleyards software to record and track livestock sales, ensuring the correct entry of data such as lot numbers, weights, and sale prices.Updating the sale system software in real-time during sale days to provide accurate reports for agents, buyers, and council staff.Maintaining high level skills in the operation of computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, database, electronic document management system and other computer applications.Assisting the Manager and Operations Coordinator to implement and enforce legislation, policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for employees and contractors.What you'll bringCertificate III or higher in Business Administration or related discipline.Highly developed administrative, organisational, written and verbal communication skills and customer services skills (to internal and external customers).Advanced proficiency in business related computer software (Microsoft Office Applications) and electronic document management systems.Demonstrated analytical skills particularly in regard to project management.Demonstrated skills and ability to relate effectively to a variety of clients offering a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers.We'd also love you to have:Knowledge of Local Government functions, in particular operational environments.Knowledge of WH&S and Risk Management principles.Ready for your opportunity?This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $65,812 to $76,484.To find out more about this role, explore the Position Description and feel free to reach out to our Manager Dubbo Regional Livestock Markets on to make an enquiry.If this role sounds like you, we would love to hear from you, simply click Apply Now!Applications close 9:00am, Friday 24 January 2025.Please Note: Notifications are primarily system generated.
