About the Opportunity Council is seeking an experienced Administration Officer to provide a full range of planning and development compliance administration support and to assist with the efficient and effective performance of the Planning and Development Compliance Team and its operations.
This position can be based at any of our major regional centres (Dalby/Chinchilla/Miles/Tara/Wandoan). Reporting to the Compliance Senior Officer, you will be:
providing courteous customer service to external customers via face to face, telephone, email or correspondence;providing administrative support to the Planning & Environment Manager, Compliance Senior Officer;carrying out duties accurately, professionally, and efficiently as directed by the Planning & Development Compliance Senior Officer, including the preparation and delivery of administrative tasks that are associated with the Planning Act; Building Act 1975, and Plumbing and Drainage Act 2018; andcoordinating the process, including the preparation, presentation, and delivery of compliance documentation.About yourself The successful applicant will have:
