Service Integration Administration Officer (Security and Custody) Intensive Drug and Alcohol Treatment Program (IDATP) Locations – Geoffrey Pearce Correctional Centre Employment Type – Ongoing – Permanent opportunity available Salary – Clerk Grade 3/4 (starting at $ 79,032.00 plus superannuation leave loading) Join us as the Service Integration Administration Officer (Security and Custody) with the Intensive Drug and Alcohol Treatment Program (IDATP). This role supports the essential operations of the Service Integration team within the Correctional Centre and plays a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of critical administrative functions. Your role As the Service Integration Administration Officer (Security and Custody) with the Intensive Drug and Alcohol Treatment Program (IDATP) you will be based at Geoffrey Pearce Correctional Centre, and be responsible for a variety of administrative, accounts, and purchasing services to support the operations of the centre specifically Service Integration as part of the Custody Based Service Delivery Model. Your role will involve working with minimal supervision and providing crucial support across multiple administrative functions, ensuring our systems run smoothly and effectively. Whether you're coordinating withvarious internal or external stakeholders , updating records, managing routine financial transactions, data entry, meeting management or maintaining multidisciplinary communications your work will help facilitate efficient delivery of service provision within our correctional facility. What you'll do As part of the administration team, you will: Undertake a range of administrative support services, including financial management, purchasing, accounts processing, and records management. Provide high-level clerical and administrative support to internal and external clients and other stakeholders. Compile, create, and distribute documents essential for the effective operation of the branch, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures. Serve as a key point of contact, addressing and resolving inquiries or redirecting them as needed. Update and maintain records and databases, ensuring all information is accurate, stored securely, and easily accessible to authorised personnel. Perform routine financial transactions and purchasing duties in compliance with agency standards. Maintain strict confidentiality and integrity over sensitive information. What we're looking for Experience in providing administrative and clerical support in a fast-paced environment. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with a range of stakeholders. Proficiency in using databases and administrative systems to ensure information is managed accurately and securely. Essential Requirements A current driver's licence and preparedness to drive as required for the role. Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency for ongoing appointments.
