About us:
Capricornia Offender Health Service (COHS) is responsible for the delivery of health service to Prisoners in the Capricornia Correctional Centre (CCC) and Capricornia Correctional Farm (CCF) including workcamps. COHS provides a health service to a fluctuating population of approximately 1030 male Prisoners within CCC and CCF.
About the role:
The Administration Officer is required to work within and support a team that provides quality administrative support services within the COHS. The role is required to work across both services of COHS, the main health centre and the health and wellbeing team by providing administrative functions to support clinical staff through scheduling of clinics, records management, referral, and appointment coordination, and ordering of clinical and non-clinical supplies.
Maintain computerised database services, information management and minute taking for team meetings as required.
Effective and efficient management of workload through prioritisation of tasks and functions, ensuring high level administrative services are provided within designated timeframes, always in conjunction, collaboration and consultation with other administrative officers as required.
About you:
Non-mandatory qualifications/requirements: While not mandatory, a Diploma or Certificate IV in Business and or Health Administration or equivalent will be well regarded.
Proven ability to work effectively with information technology as demonstrated by competent computerised keyboard skills incorporating speed, accuracy, and use of computerised systems.
Ability to plan, meet deadlines and prioritise workloads whilst working autonomously and with other team members.

An hourly rate between $47.74 - $53.09 p.h. (Including 23% casual loading)
