Our workplace is fast paced, challenging and supportive, where every employee plays a critical role in our success.Working for Mackay Hospital and Health Service whether in regional, rural and remote will give you unique opportunities that you won't experience in any metropolitan hospital.The Cardiac Services at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for an Administration Officer to join their team on a permanent basis.Your opportunityTo provide an effective and efficient administrative support service to the staff, clients and visitors of the Cardiac Services Unit.About the TeamThe Mackay Hospital and Health provides a range of settings for the delivery of cardiac services encompassing, Coronary Care Unit (CCU), Cardiac Catheter Laboratory (CCL) for diagnostic and interventional services and Cardiac Rehabilitation for ongoing prevention and maintenance. The Service provides ambulatory and inpatient services for public and private patients. The service is supported with a dedicated Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), Clinical Nurse Consultant's, Nurse Educator, Clinical Director - Cardiac Services and a wider health care team to deliver safe, quality health care through exemplary standards of practice.About our Hospital and Health ServiceMackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff.
