The Business Administration Support Services at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for an Administration Officer to join their team on a casual basis. This Expression of Interest collects a variety of information that will help identify potentially suitable applicants for future opportunities.

To provide and undertake a diverse range of highly responsive and confidential after-hours administration support services across Mackay-based facilities within the MHHS.
About the Team:
Business Administration Support Services (BASS) provides a mechanism to support various work units within the Mackay Hospital & Health Service with appropriately skilled administration staff to backfill administration positions to meet service delivery needs. The key areas for which BASS provides support are patient-facing roles and will involve interaction with patients to facilitate the delivery of positive health outcomes and our community members. The vacancies BASS supports occur as a result of various forms of planned, unplanned or extended leave, including but not limited to:
Emergent leave
Planned Leave
Secondments / Higher duty appointments
Approved project specific work
