About us:
Central Queensland Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs Service provides specialist mental health, substance, and alcohol-related care to residents of Rockhampton, Capricorn Coast, Gladstone, Central Highlands and Banana areas (catchment in excess of a population of 250,000) with services located in each area.
About the role:
To deliver efficient and confidential business and administrative support within the outpatient function of the Central Queensland Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs Services team, to ensure optimal delivery of clinical services to consumers.
Key Responsibilities: Provide assistance to other staff within a multidisciplinary team structure to ensure priority tasks are completed and deadlines met. Demonstrate high work ethics, the ability to work autonomously and a high level of pride in their work. Adhere to relevant Queensland Health policies, standards and relevant legislative requirements, providing feedback on recommendations for improvements to Line Manager. About you:
Non-mandatory qualifications/requirements: While not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be well regarded.
Desired Skills: Proficiently complete functions associated with bookings for appointments: generate clinic templates, manage appointments cancellations and rescheduling, using the relevant information systems in a timely manner to provide a quality consumer service, ensuring appropriate revenue/activity is captured. High level organisational, communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to consult and negotiate with consumers and staff at all levels of the organisation in a confidential, professional and positive manner. Demonstrated proficiency or ability to rapidly acquire skills in the use of Clinical Information Systems utilised for booking and billing purposes or ability to rapidly acquire these skills. Total remuneration value of up to $97,656 p.a. is comprised of:
