About the role Permanent full time opportunity to provide efficient call centre and booking service for all patients ensuring high utilisation of booking times available for clinicians, data integrity and effective management of the waiting lists in accordance with Queensland Health Policy.
About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Fulfil the accountabilities of this role in accordance with Queensland Health's core values.Utilise knowledge and skills of administrative processes, systems, and medical terminology to provide effective and flexible administrative support by delivering call centre service, booking service and office administrative services utilising contemporary office equipment and software packages such as Microsoft Office Suite and various information systems used within TPCH (e.g., ESM, HBCIS, S4Hana, Q_Flow, IMS, MyHR).Complete functions associated with the waitlisting of patients, bookings for procedures/appointments, managing procedure/appointment cancellations, rescheduling and removals from the request list using the relevant information systems in a timely manner.Deliver high quality client service using tact, diplomacy and always maintaining confidentiality.Health Equity It is expected that all Metro North Health staff, including the incumbent of this role as a valuable member of the Metro North workforce, contribute to the health equity agenda and meet the intent of supporting the defined six actions that specifically meet the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people within the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS).
