The Mater Hospital Administration team has an opportunity available for an experienced Administration Officer to join their team working in our Allied Health, Emotional Health and CVI Administration Team on a casual basis.Salary range: $29.53 - $34.28 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900What you'll be doing Providing Exceptional Customer Service to patients and clientsBooking and managing outpatient appointments in TAHDIS (Team Allied Health Data Information System)Register and update patient details in iPMInvoice/receipt patients in Totalcare and using HICAPSManage phone calls from patients and clinical staff taking a variety of enquiriesMaintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality, complying with administration, and financial policy and proceduresMaintaining accurate, current and accessible filesProvide administrative assistance to senior admin staff and others as requested About youTo be successful in this role you will meet the following in the following: Must be able to work autonomously as well a teamAbility to learn and retain a lot of information quickly (this position will be working across all receptions listed above)Must be flexible and adaptableHigh level of customer service, verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multitask, organise and prioritise work effectively within a busy, fast-paced, demanding environmentHighly developed time management and organisational skillsStrong computer skills including competence in Administration systems (and the ability to quickly learn new systems)Ability to use programs such as Outlook, Word and Excel Why join us?
