About the roleWe are seeking an experienced Administration and Finance Manager to join our team at Pacific Fasteners & Hydraulics Pty Ltd in Tully, QLD. This full-time role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative and financial operations of our company, playing a key part in supporting the overall business objectives.
What you'll be doing Manage all accounting and financial reporting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, BAS / GST report preparation and lodgement, monthly superannuation reports and lodgement.Oversee the administrative operations of the business, including office management and facilities management.Implement and maintain efficient administrative and financial processes and systems.Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to the leadership team.Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.Supervise and mentor the administrative team.Contribute to the development and execution of the company's overall business strategy.What we're looking for Significant experience (5+ years) in a similar administration and finance management role, preferably within the manufacturing or retail industries.Strong financial management skills, including expertise in accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.Proven track record of implementing efficient administrative and operational processes.Effective leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field well regarded but not essential.What we offerPacific Fasteners & Hydraulics is a leading supplier of industrial fasteners, hydraulic and agricultural fittings and components and related products to primarily the agricultural sector across Far North Queensland.
