Office Management (Administration & Office Support)
Salary: $60,000 – $80,000 per year pro rata + incentives
The Australian Institute of For-Purpose Leaders (AIFPL) was established early in 2024. We are an important and growing For-Purpose (Not-for-profit) organisation dedicated to empowering and supporting leaders in the social impact sector. With a focus on capacity building, leadership development, and cross-sector collaboration, we are committed to driving positive change and creating a more sustainable and inclusive society.

Our members will include board members, CEOs, senior executives, departmental managers and team leaders throughout Australia.
What you'll be doing
We are seeking an experienced Administration & Engagement Manager to join our small but energetic team at the Australian Institute of For-Purpose Leaders in South Melbourne. This newly created part-time (or perhaps full-time) role will encompass a variety of activities and responsibilities.
These will include:
Engaging with and supporting prospective and existing members
Identifying and engaging with potential corporate and other partners
Managing communications
Arranging online and face-to-face events and meetings
Establishing and maintaining records and contact lists
Supporting Special Interest Group and State Chapter Committees
Supporting the AIFPL non-executive directors
What we're looking for
You will be a person of good character. (This is really important!)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including prospective and existing members, corporate sponsors, partners and other stakeholders
Minimum 5 years' experience in an administrative or office management role.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to continuous improvement
A collaborative and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving
Enjoys working collaboratively and autonomously
A passion for the for-purpose sector and a strong alignment with our purpose and values
