Job Description An exciting opportunity now exists for a self-motivated and experienced co-ordinator to join our passionate and dedicated Event Management team on a 6-12 month full time contract basis. (Please note that this role is known as Event Co-ordinator internally.) ABOUT THE ROLE The Administration Co-ordinator is responsible for providing a professional standard of administrative support to the Event team. Key responsibilities of the role will include:
Assist Event Managers with planning including formatting complex documents, event resumes, floor plans, digital signage and various other administrative tasks. Printing and co-ordination of menus and name cards for events. Co-ordinate internal meetings including taking the initial enquiries, booking the rooms and associated catering and equipment requirements. Diary management for Event Managers, including co-ordinating and scheduling internal and external appointments and meetings. Assist with site inspections and pre-event client meetings and famils. Maintaining and updating the department filing system, monthly reports, stationery supplies and office equipment. ABOUT YOU To be successful in this role you will have:
Experience in a similar role preferred within the hospitality, tourism or recreational industry. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal with high attention to detail. The ability to build strong relationships with our clients and our internal team members. Database Management skills and experience using a range of software systems. Strong computer literacy skills, with experience using MS Office Suite (word, excel and outlook) and Publisher.
