About the role: Located at our new distribution centre based in Broadmeadows, we are seeking an Administration Clerk to help support its operation and management team. The Distribution Centre Administration Clerk will work as part of a multi-skilled administration team and will report directly to the Planning Manager with key responsibilities including but not limited to the following: Key Role Responsibility/Duties - main General Administrative Assistance: Carry out day to day administration including but not limited to: Pallet control documentation, printing, electronic filing, scanning, updating internal systems and communications as required Ensure the creation of weekly refresh files for the following week by COB each Friday Payroll Reporting: Ensure all documentation for timesheets for both permanent team members and contract team members via agency are inputted and where required submitted as per the deadlines below: Site Base Reporting: Ensure all requested reporting is created, updated, and actioned in a timely and accurate manner. Customer Service: Attending to driver and customer queries in a timely and professional manner Induction Packs: Ensure all new starter induction packs are prepared and ready for new team members first day. Driver Inductions & Access: Where possible, the Distribution Centre Administration Clerk will be the first point of call for Drivers attending site. Duties will include: Performing boom-gate operations as per site process Verify all drivers on site have completed a current driver induction Direct drivers to assigned dock doors Key Role Responsibility/Duties - secondary Updating of daily communication sheets and any other communications required for the site either on a regular or ad hoc basis Build and maintain strong working relationships with labour hire agencies and ensure processes are maintained and followed.
