About the role We are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly Administration - Billing Officer, to support our Therapy Services team. This position is responsible for a broad range of administrative duties associated with billing and invoicing for Therapy Services service provisions. The role includes coordination of billing and invoicing within the Carpentaria Client Management System, ensuring compliance with financial management requirements.
Responsibilities include:
Working collaboratively with the Finance team and Therapy Services team to administer billing activities, including account preparation and reconciliation Handling and reconciling procurement for team resources, participant consumables, travel reimbursements and professional development programs Quarantining funds via service bookings on the NDIS Providers Digital Access (PRODA) based on agreed upon Schedules of Support Providing strong customer service to clients, families, and stakeholders (internal and external) to identify and resolve funding issues for Therapy Services provided by Carpentaria Ensuring accuracy in data collection and data entry, to enable the creation of analytical reports that contribute to operations and improvements across Carpentaria Therapy Services Providing accurate end-of-month KPI reporting for Therapy Services which highlights trends and anomalies Managing the quality of NDIS documentation of Carpentaria Therapy Services to support the quality unit in line with NDIS compliance requirements Identifying process improvements and efficiencies to support efficient finance data management Contributing to the development, implementation and continuous improvement of Therapy Services financial procedures, processes and associated forms and templates. Undertaking delegated work activities in a cooperative and supportive manner as an active member of a diverse work team About you The position requires someone with proven experience in an administrative/accounting position with broad knowledge of general finance and billing processes and procedures. You will have high level organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and effectively manage workload while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
In addition, you will be able to demonstrate:
High-level interpersonal and communication skills A positive attitude and great people skills Ability to prioritise and effectively manage workload Sound computer literacy skills High level customer service skills Ability to maintain integrity and confidentiality You will also need to hold (or have the ability to obtain) a current Ochre Card, Criminal History Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
