Administration Assistants- Australian Islamic College (Perth) Inc. Administrative Assistants (Administration & Office Support) The Australian Islamic College is a faith-based K-12 co-educational facility catering for over 5,500 students from five sites in WA (Thornlie, Dianella, Forrestdale, Henley Brook and Kewdale) and one site in SA (Adelaide). The Australian Islamic College invites applications for the position of Admin Assistants at our Dianella and Kewdale Campuses. We are seeking friendly, experienced, highly organised and accomplished admin assistants for our very busy offices. Duties will include, but are not limited to: Responding to queries - in person, over the phone and via email Answering and transferring telephone calls Taking payments for school fees General office administration duties including scanning and filing. There may also be opportunities to arrange relief staff and follow up on student attendance. Qualification in a business or administrative field, or 2 years minimum experience in a admin related role. Advanced verbal and written communication skills. Good analytical skills with an ability to identify and solve problems. Advanced computing skills including Microsoft Office suite in particular Outlook, Word and Excel. Fast and accurate typing / keyboard skills. Ability to quickly learn and confidently use new databases. Ability to meet deadlines and cope professionally with competing priorities. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate and liaise with people at all levels, both internal and external. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise judgement and discretion at all times. A willingness to embrace the ethos of the College.
