About UsAxis Underwriting Services is an award-winning and highly regarded Underwriting Agency, and we are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our Residential Strata team as an Administration Assistant. It is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated individual who is looking to develop their insurance experience and skills in a growing organisation.About the RoleReporting to the Manager - Residential Strata, you will actively contribute to the team by:Timely processing of new business, renewals, and mid-term adjustments including preparation of documents.Assisting underwriters with new business submissions and renewals including liaising with brokers to obtain all necessary information and check accuracy.Taking inbound queries and requests from brokers via phone and email.Recording and maintaining electronic client records.Following up on broker closings and proposals.Issuing Certificates of Currency and Claims experience.About YouTo be successful for this role you will need:A minimum of 1 year's experience within the General Insurance / Financial Services industry.Working knowledge of Property and/or Strata underwriting or experience in Strata Management will be favourably considered.Knowledge of the General Insurance Code of Practice and Privacy obligations.Strong written and verbal communication skills.A positive attitude and to be a team player.In return, you will be joining a great team culture.
