Axis Underwriting Services is an award winning and highly regarded Underwriting Agency and we are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our Residential Strata team as an Administration Assistant.  It is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated individual who is looking to develop their insurance experience and skills in a growing organisation.  
About the Role Reporting to the Manager - Residential Strata, you will actively contribute to the team by:
Timely processing of new business, renewals and mid-term adjustments including preparation of documentsAssisting underwriters with new business submissions and renewals including liaising with brokers to obtain all necessary information and check accuracyTaking inbound queries and requests from brokers - phone and emailRecording and maintaining electronic client recordsFollowing up on broker closings and proposalsIssuing Certificates of Currency and Claims experienceAbout You To be successful for this role you will need:
A minimum 1 years' experience within the General Insurance / Financial Services industryWorking knowledge of Property and/or Strata underwriting or experience in Strata Management will be favourably consideredKnowledge of the General Insurance Code of Practice and Privacy obligationsStrong written and verbal communication skillsA positive attitude and to be a team playerIn return, you will be joining a great team culture.
