Nambour Christian College (NCC) is a co-educational, inter-denominational Prep to Year 12 Christian school located in the heartland of the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. NCC educates approximately 1200 students through dedicated sub schools: Junior (P-6), Middle (7-9) and Senior (10-12). Our Performance and Instrumental Music Program is a performance-based program that engages students in learning instruments or voice from Prep to Year 12. The program seeks to provide students with outstanding opportunities to grow their musicality and confidence and grow in character. With approximately 400 students in the program, music tours, and multiple events throughout the year, the Administrative Assistant's role is critical to the success of the program.
About the Role:
Central to the smooth operation of the Performance and Instrumental Music Department, the role provides administrative support to the Head of Performance and Instrumental Music, and is the primary contact point for parents, students and Music Tutors.
Strong, professional communication skills are essential as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, tasks such as data entry, document creation, and email communication.
The successful candidate must demonstrate a strong attention to detail, have an aptitude for scheduling, reporting, event management, exceptional organisation skills and have an ability to work well with minimal supervision.
