Secure employment with a well-established Practice 25 hours per week, flexible days and hours on offer Potential for the role to increase to full time for the right person About the Role; Our client is a well respected Accounting firm who's founder had a vision to create a premium accounting firm that fosters a culture of partnering with their clients, to provide them with support and offer strategic business, accounting and personal advice.
They are now seeking a part time Administration team member, who will be the first point of contact for new and existing clients and will create a positive first impression for the business.
In addition, you will provide administrative support for the professional team, coordinating client appointments, drafting client proposals and collating tax returns and financial documentation.
Ideally you will have previous experience in a similar role in a Public Practice environment, giving you an understanding of Accounting Software and ATO processes.
The position is to commence at 25 hours per week, with the potential to increase.
What's great about this role:   Work with a company that recognises and rewards their staff Collaborative team offering monthly staff recognition rewards Close to public transport Main Responsibilities include: Provide exceptional customer service as the first point of contact for all client liaisons including meeting & greeting clients & answering phones Email correspondence with internal & external parties Preparing letters & other documentation for clients Office filling, data entry & archiving Collating of tax returns & lodgements of income tax returns Stationery & consumables ordering Attend to banking, mail collection & couriers Any other ad hoc administrative task as required Skills and Experience: Previous experience working within an accounting practice, highly desirable  Knowledge of XERO ATO Smart Docs, Microsoft Office Suite is preferred Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills High attention to detail, with the ability to take accurate messages Highly organized with the ability to multitask and meet company deadlines You MUST have permanent rights to live & work in Australia to apply for this job How to apply All applications are to be submitted online – click APPLY.
