The Opportunity As an Administration Assistant in the City of Perth, you willunder general direction, provide administration support andcustomer service activities that contributes to successfulfunctioning and outcomes for the various Parks and Environmentteams and wider Operations Unit. 
Reporting to the Parks and Environment Manager within our Parksteam, your responsibilities would primarily include:
Under general direction, provide administrative support andassistance to the Parks and Environment Manager and wider Unitas required, including but not limited to word processessing,routine correspondence, reports, presentation preparation andmanaging spreadsheets. Day-to-day management and distribution of Parks andEnvironment teams' correspondence and internal mail in anefficient and effective manner. Contribute as a team member towards achieving best practicein the smooth, efficient and responsive delivery of alladministrative support functions, document management andprojects. Respond to both internal and external enquiries in a timelyand efficient manner that adheres to the City's policiesand procedures. Maintain compliant work practices in accordance with allrelevant legislation, recordkeeping frameworks and all otherrelevant Council policies and procedures, and otherframeworks. About You To succeed in this role, you will possess:
Experience in researching issues, organising informationand generating correspondence or reports with high attention todetail. Proficiency with Microsoft Windows operating systems andMicrosoft Office 365. Basic knowledge of financial processes, such as raisingpurchase orders and; Have sound organisational skills and judgement, whichenable an ability to meet deadlines despite competingpriorities.
