ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT OR TRAINEE CONVEYANCING ROLE, DARWIN
An exciting and fast-growing national law firm is seeking a highly motivated and determined person to join our Darwin team in an administration and trainee conveyancing role. This is a rewarding position designed to kick start the career of an ambitious applicant interested in property and conveyancing. On the job training will be offered to the successful applicant.
This is a maternity leave cover position until approximately May/June 2024, but may be extended or lead to ongoing work in future.
Day to day duties include:
Preparing settlement packets for property sales and purchases General office administration Daily visits to the Land Titles Office to complete the filing of Settlements and Transfers Taking the lead or assisting the primary Settlements person, depending on requirements Attending banks for cheque collection and delivery Liaising with clients, banks, brokers and other professionals. Learning conveyancing admin and supporting the wider business during down times To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate that:
You have completed year 12 or equivalent You hold a current driver's license Personal attributes:
Numerical aptitude Problem solving skills Relationship building and management Resilience Attention to detail Previous customer service experience, office experience or a certificate in business or finance is an advantage but is not required.
