Part time role located at Star of the Sea Retirement Village in Torquay Use your exceptional administration skills to assist staff and residents Join a for-purpose organisation and receive excellent NFP salary packaging benefits About the role Reporting to the manager at Star of the Sea Retirement Village, the Administration Officer is responsible and accountable for the day-to-day activities of the office, ensuring that administrative and reception services are provided to residents, visitors and staff.
Key responsibilities: Complete a variety of administrative tasks such as coordination of mail, preparation and distribution of correspondence, ordering and stock control of office stationery and cleaning supplies Ensure all guests and contractors sign in upon arrival Undertake general housekeeping duties, ensuring common areas are always neat and tidy Log property maintenance requests and arrange necessary work/service in consultation with the property team Attend to emergency calls, provide first aid and activate medical emergency alarm when necessary About you You have previous experience in a reception or administration role and a passion for providing first-class customer service.
Your interpersonal skills are exceptional, and you communicate with compassion and patience.
You take pride in your work, have a keen eye for detail, and display initiative and common sense when making decisions or solving problems.
You're a natural people-person who enjoys working in a team environment, and you have a strong understanding of quality service delivery.
