About the Role: Maxima's valued client is currently searching for a permanent, part-time Administrative Assistant. Based in Hindmarsh, this role is 22.5 hours per week, with the days of the week being negotiable. It is a requirement that the successful candidate be able to work on significant days, i.e., board meetings, workshops, conferences, etc.
This role is in a small and effective team, providing support to the Business Manager and Executive Assistant. This is a varied role, where flexibility and willingness to perform essential services and back up other areas is required.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): General office duties, i.e., phone, email, and website enquiriesAdministrative support to the President, Board, and office staffAssisting with event planning, including catering and venue sourcing as requiredAssisting with accommodation bookings for board membersTaking minutes of meetings, as requiredProcessing and monitoring event registration dataAssist with website managementSocial media managementEvent marketingSome intrastate and interstate travel may be required About You: Experience in event management and administrationIntermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or similarExcellent communication skills with an ability to work in a team environment and autonomouslyAbility to work under pressure with tight deadlinesExcellent problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and organisation skillsAbility to maintain strict confidentiality and diplomacy Benefits: Negotiable work daysSmall, tight-knit and supportive teamModern office in CBD outskirts About Maxima: Maxima is a not-for-profit company, established in 1985, focusing on supporting people in their pursuit of meaningful and fulfilling work.
