Office admin position within a fast-paced accountancy firm environmentPlay an integral role in a team of friendly, supportive professionalsHybrid and flexible work options available Grant Thornton Australia is one of the world's leading independently-owned and managed accounting, advisory and consulting firms.Our culture is underpinned by a commitment to our clients, people and communities, and our promise to 'Reach for Remarkable' by providing proven expertise, principled execution, and personalised experience.In Australia, we're proud to support the careers of over 1,500 remarkable people.With six offices nationally and partner firms in more than 145 markets, wherever you want to go, we can take you there.About this role / Key responsibilitiesA position has become available for a motivated Administration Assistant with a positive, 'can-do' attitude to support the Private Business Tax and Advisory (Business Services) team in Perth.This is a diverse and fast-paced role, with key responsibilities including (but not limited to): General administrative duties such as filing, scanning and document preparationSupport with organisation of team training, including room bookings and catering Client onboarding including ASIC searches, ABN and TFN applications, assisting with preparation of fees and processing invoices for accounts payableCompletion of ATO lodgementsAssist the National Corporate Secretarial team with collating ASIC company annual review statements and attending to basic ASIC company changes (please note that training will be provided for Corporate Secretarial tasks)Preparation of correspondence and other documentationDatabase and system management – update Salesforce CRM, Xero and other systems Please note that additional training in CorpSec tasks can be provided to those with no prior experience in this area.You will also attend to other ad hoc tasks and support our Executive Assistants and the broader team as required.Skills and experience Required Conscientious with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detailExcellent organisation, time management and prioritisation skillsStrong communication skills, with a positive approach to teamwork and ability to collaborate with and manage expectations of various stakeholders at all levelsExperience in the use of Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Microsoft Teams Desirable Previous administration experience within a corporate environment would be advantageous
