Healthcare Australia is looking for an exceptional Administration Assistant to join our dedicated team at the Yongah Hill Immigration Detention Centre in Northam.
As an Administration Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of our clinical teams providing primary health services to immigration detainees.
Reporting to the Health Services Manager, key day to day responsibilities include: Promptly and professionally addressing inquiries from a wide range of internal and external stakeholders Scheduling and coordinating detainee health appointments; maintaining confidential databases including electronic health records Coordinating staff accommodation requirements, travel arrangements, and facilities maintenance including liaising with real local estate representatives Assisting in the orientation and induction of new staff, ensuring a positive onboarding and new team member experience Providing administrative support for meetings, including diary management, agenda setting and minute taking Ensuring accurate record-keeping and data management across multiple physical and electronic records management systems What We're Looking For You will bring strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across multiple stakeholder groups with varying levels of seniority.
Exceptional organisational and time-management skills will be pivotal to success in the role, whilst it's anticipated you'll also offer: Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including the Microsoft Office suite Attention to detail and a solutions-focused attitude to problem solving A collaborative, team first approach to you work with the ability to operate independently when required Previous administrative experience and comprehensive customer service skills A formal qualification in Business Administration or similar would be highly regarded (though not essential) Additional Information What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits package.
