About Us Local to Eltham, Pierce Building Services is a fast-paced building company working exclusively within the Insurance Industry. We pride ourselves on providing the best customer service to our clients and adhering to their needs, expectations and competitive deadlines.
The standout Administrative Assistant will have reception experience in a small but dynamic office environment and as the first point of contact for clients, will be responsible for the below administrative support tasks and duties:
Reception duties - handling a high number of detailed and in some cases, complex inbound callsAllocating jobs to trades and following these up accordinglyTrade follow-upsData Entry & Report writing Varying administrative responsibilitiesBe able to multitask and deal with competing priorities with practicality and a sense of urgency. About You Professional telephone manner and excellent communication skills both verbal and writtenExperience using Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook essential. MYOB Experience advantageous!Proactive, flexible and a willingness to learnStrong attention to detailCapability and keenness to perform a variety of tasks in our multi-skilled environmentHave a bright, bubbly and positive attitude is essential in this role– Going above and beyond for clients and customers, a must.This is an opportunity for you to work close to home with FREE onsite parking. This is a permanent full time opportunity located in Nillumbik Shire, Eltham - 38 hours per week, Monday - Friday 9am-5pm. With the chance to work additional hours when necessary.
