About the role The Administration Assistant role is vital to maintaining a well-organized and smoothly running office environment. This role demands excellent multitasking skills and attention to detail, as it involves a variety of daily and weekly tasks that are crucial to the efficient functioning of the workplace.
Key responsibilities include: Sort and distribute mail and parcels; address any related queries.Review invoices, code the cost center, and forward them for approval.Monitor and replenish stationery supplies on all levels, keeping storage areas tidy.Respond to maintenance requests and coordinate with tradesmen for repairs or new tasks.Manage building maintenance, including routine services like pest control and cleaning.Assist with purchasing requests, ensuring proper approvals are in place.We're Interested in Hearing from People Who Have: Flexibility that can work 30 hours per week over 4 working days or school type hours over 5 working days.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward solving problems.Some experience in office administration or a similar role.The ability to communicate effectively with team members and external partners.This role is essential to keeping the office running smoothly, and we are looking for someone who takes pride in creating a well-organized and efficient work environment.
