Provide administrative support to the Mobile Learning Unit operations team.Diverse role in facilitating efficient operations and collaboration within a dynamic environment.Salary packaging, subsidised health and wellbeing services, fitness and cultural clubs, Myki discounts, and a 25% discount on graduate courses to our staff and their immediate families!About the Role The Administrative Officer in the Mobile Learning Unit (MLU) provides essential support to the CX Manager and key stakeholders, reporting directly to the CX Manager and collaborating within the Senior Leadership (SL) Support team. Responsible for diverse tasks including human resources, finance, office administration, and more, the incumbent ensures smooth operations within MLU. Working closely with senior members, this role plays a vital role in information distribution and fosters a supportive environment within MLU.
Your responsibilities will include:
Provide personal administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team. This includes managing complex and changing travel plans and engagements (diary management); acting as delegate for iExpenses and may include supporting Department Heads with respect to the above and some aspects of research and/or teaching administrationOversee and uphold administrative expense budgetsSupport in bookkeeping to ensure precise record-keeping of business financesInput invoices for both payments and receivablesWho We Are Looking For
You will excel in this role with your excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated through your ability to prepare various documents and effectively engage with students and staff. Your highly developed administrative and organisational skills, coupled with a service-oriented approach, enable you to work both independently and collaboratively with initiative. Additionally, your attention to detail, active listening, curiosity, and resilience enhance your ability to meet diverse needs and foster a productive office environment.


You will also have:
Completion of an undergraduate tertiary qualification or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/trainingDemonstrated experience working in a high-level administrative role.Excellent planning and priority management skills with the ability to schedule and prioritise a range of tasks, manage time effectively and work to fixed deadlines in a changing environmentExcellent computer skills including a good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite as well as the capacity to learn and use in-house administrative database systemsFor further information regarding responsibilities and requirements, please refer to the attached PD.
This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures. Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. This role requires current valid work rights for Australia.
