About Goodstart Halls Head Goodstart Early Learning Halls Head is a beautifully-presented, purpose-built centre servicing the Halls Head area. The centre is easily accessible via the local bus service, and features convenient off-street parking; and is close to local shops and schools.
Our centre caters for children from six weeks to five years. We provide nutritionally-balanced meals via our on-site cook, a clean and hygienic environment, and a fun, educational, child-centred curriculum.
Inside, all of the rooms are set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning.
Communicating with families is paramount at Goodstart Halls Head, and in addition to verbal communication, we interact with families via newsletters, emails, and daily displays within the centre. We use Storypark to share your child's learning. This industry leading program lets you see the learning experiences of your child and allows you to interact with educators to enable real connections between what your child learns at Goodstart Halls Head and what happens at home. This also means we can tailor each program to the child's individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.
Outside, we have three areas all with age appropriate play spaces and equipment. We have a large, shaded outdoor area with vegetable gardens for the children to tend, and spacious rooms throughout the centre. Our passionate team of educators work hard to ensure we provide each child with continuity of care within a fun and safe environment.
Community is also important to us and through visits to the centre and participation in events and activities throughout the year we are able to enrich the learning experience. Art and music experiences are provided on a daily basis which allow the children to freely express their creativity.
