The Team:
Located at the RAAF Base Tindal, just 15 km outside of Katherine and caters to Defence personnel and their families. Katherine is the fourth largest settlement in the Northern Territory and is known as the place where "The outback meets the tropics".
The team have created three separate learning environments for different age groups. Children feel like they belong here, and so will you. They have capacity for 73 children and operate between 7am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

Who You Will Be:
Are you an organized, detail-oriented professional with a passion for supporting early education? We are looking for an enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for families and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative tasks. From managing reception duties to assisting with key documentation and compliance, you'll play an essential role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment.
You will assist in maintaining accurate records, updating policies, and ensuring that all Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements are met. Your support will extend to managing appointments, inventories, and helping with service staff orientations. With a balance of administrative and clinical tasks, this position offers a dynamic work environment where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities: Greet visitors and families, manage phone calls, and maintain a welcoming reception area. Process mail, maintain employee and client files, and assist with meeting arrangements. Prepare, proofread, and update service notices and policies. Support Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) by conducting risk assessments and evacuation drills. Assist the director with timesheets, invoice summaries, and quarterly child protection validations. What You Will Bring:
