Administration Assistant - Temporary Part Time (6 months) About the Role
We are seeking a flexible, highly organised and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Admin Assistant in our Emergency Department. The successful applicant must be available at short notice, able to work weekends and late shifts, and be available over busy holiday periods.
As a member of the Noosa Emergency Department, you will need to ensure patients are administratively admitted, discharged & billed in a timely manner. This role demands someone who can work autonomously, whilst supporting the rest of the ED team, and other areas of the Hospital as required.

Proven strong organisational and time management skills
Available to work a flexible roster and available at short notice
Adherence to deadlines and ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to work as an effective team member
Ability to work and cope in stressful situations
Willingness to learn
Desirable Requirements
Experience in hospital patient administration systems, or private practice software
Understanding of Private Health Insurance / patient billing
Relevant health services experience is recommended
