Current opportunity We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our Private Wealth team in Brisbane.
Your key responsibility will be to provide professional secretarial and administrative support to the Private Wealth Advisory team.
Your role will include: • Proactively coordinating the office routine and ensuring that assistance is readily accessible for all staff through the use of available resources at the time • Review and instigation on office procedures to ensure office and team efficiency • Maintenance of key software used within the team.
Performing System Administrator tasks and managing user licenses • Diary management for Partners, booking meeting rooms • Answering phones • Booking travels • Processing expenses • Board Paper preparation • Preparing reports • Organising Performance appraisals • Assisting in onboarding and exiting staff members • Processing leave • Processing the mail • Organising social events, morning and afternoon teas, birthday cards and gifts, Christmas cards and hampers • Database maintenance • Adviser Code maintenance • CPD recording • Professional membership renewals Ideally, you'll have the following: • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a professional services firm is preferable but not essential • High level time management skills and proven ability to prioritise • Experience building rapport and developing professional relationships with internal and external clients • High level attention to detail and compliance with policy and procedures • Extensive diary management experience • An ability to self-start is important • Respect for all team members and professional outlook is essential • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010 Product Suite (in particular Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) • Ability to learn other software packages used by Private Wealth Advisers Our Private Wealth team BDO Private Wealth is a market leader in the financial services industry providing unparalleled financial advice and services for over 30 years.
