Located 15 kilometres south-west of Singleton in the beautiful Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, MTW relies on both dragline and load haul systems for their continuous operations.
The MTW Mine is the largest open cut operation in the region, employing approximately 1,450 people who reside in the local and surrounding communities.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities Reporting to the HST Manager you will provide support to the HST team to ensure a high level of safety and compliance standards are maintained across the operations as well as contributing to achieving plan on a page targets and building an inclusive safety culture that enhances the Yancoal – Our Way.
Skills and Experience The successful candidates will display the Yancoal – 'Our Way' behaviours in everyday practice and fosters a 'One Team' culture, along with promoting the Yancoal Values of People, Safety, Innovation, Integrity and Excellence.
To be successful in the role you will also display the following skills and attributes: • Previous experience in a similar role; • Advanced experience in Microsoft Office programs – Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook, • Demonstrated understanding of training processes and systems; • Effective time management, co-ordination, scheduling and record keeping skills; • Ability to work independently, with initiative and flexibility; • Ability to communicate and liaise effectively across a variety of stakeholders; • Self-starter with the ability to prioritise and organise effectively whilst maintaining confidentiality; • Ability to problem solve effectively; • Well-developed communication style both verbal and written; • Certificate IV in Business Administration (desirable); • Knowledge of Pegasus Onsite Track Easy (desirable); • SAP experience (desirable); • Document control experience (desirable).
