Wintringham is a specialist not-for-profit organisation providing an extensive range of aged care, housing and related support services to men and women aged 50-plus who have been homeless or at risk of homelessness.
We employ over 1000 staff and operate from multiple offices across Melbourne and regional Victoria.
Your new role We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Administration Assistant to join our tight-knit team at two of our sites, North Western Office and our Outer North Office on a casual basis.
The role will provide backfill for a current team of administrative staff when they go on leave as well as other available casual shifts as required.
Administrative support to managers and the coordinator.
Some ad hoc travel to the Broadmeadows Office will be required and pool cars are made available.
Your responsibilities and duties will include: Provide secretarial and administrative support to Regional Managers – Community Services, Site Coordinators and Case Managers Develop, co-ordinate and maintain the administration functions and program records of the office.
Manage the office petty cash and monitor clients' trust money including counting, recording, and signing in and out of money.
Enter data into Pay global (MYOB), Epicor and Riskware, as required.
Other administrative duties as directed by the Site Coordinator or Regional Manager What we will require from you: Excellent administration skills (previous experience in a similar role within aged care/health care is highly advantageous) Strong Financial management skills Attention to detail An understanding of Aged Care processes The ability to prioritise tasks and time manage efficiently Strong IT skills and great knowledge of Microsoft Office suite Excellent communication skills A caring and non-judgmental approach with the ability to work with people from varying socio-economic backgrounds This sounds great!
